In Memory of Frances Webb

The members of the Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society were deeply saddened by the death of our accompanist, Frances Webb, on 19th April 2026. For 27 years, Frances was at the heart of our choir. Through her musicianship, encouragement and unfailing commitment, she supported countless rehearsals, concerts and special occasions. Her skill at the piano enriched our singing and helped choir members perform with confidence and enjoyment. Frances combined great musical ability with kindness, patience and a gentle sense of humour. She was a valued friend to many and played an important part in the life of our choir for nearly three decades. She is greatly missed, and we remember with gratitude all that she gave to our choir and to the wider community through her love of music.
